Gentle Hatha is a slow paced yoga practice incorporating physical postures, breath control, meditation and relaxation. It is focused on connecting the body and mind with the purpose of increasing both awareness and stability. Gentle Hatha will focus primarily on foundational stretching asanas (poses), which will be held for several breaths, allowing students to truly experience how the asana feels within their own body.
Following the asana practice you will be guided through 15 minutes of meditation practice. We will explore different methods of meditation throughout the classes.
