The 5-week Foundations of Yoga Course is our way of welcoming new students into the practice and Kanti community (or as a refresher for more seasoned practitioners). This course will provide students the physiological benefits of exercise as well as tools to calm the mind, soften tension and access insight. Yoga is both a physical practice as well as a pathway to a more balanced life. Together we will explore the physical practice by breaking down fundamental yoga poses and terminology, as well as breaking down basic flow and breathing techniques. We will spend time each session exploring philosophy with the weaving of yogic guidance throughout our practice. Conducted in a casual manner, questions are encouraged throughout and with time set aside at the end of the practice to converse and integrate knowledge. This 5-week course will leave you feeling empowered to continue your yoga practice with many styles and classes available across the Kanti timetable.
